Walks, Country Walks and Treks around Leeds
Walking is a very popular activity in Leeds, with such spectacular scenery on the door step there are a number of groups in the Leeds area happy to offer advice and guidance on the best way to enjoy walking in the Leeds area. Typically the walks take in some of the Yorkshire moor lands or some of the dales. There are also several routes take you through some of the picturesque woodland and quaint country villages that the area has to offer. The walks can be customised quite easily either to travel through a specific area or merely to regulate the distance travelled. If you are a member the Leeds YHA offers a map library service that allows you to simply borrow a map of you intended route rather than purchasing one yourself. If on the other hand the countryside is not what you've come to Leeds to see there are a number of historical walks throughout the city centre that can be undertaken by all manner of people.
